Best practices

Transactions connections pull the last 90 days of history by default, which is typically sufficient for cash flow analysis and recurring deposit identification. To pull the full window (up to 2 years), set request_extended_history to true when you create the bridge token. Every refresh uses the 90-day window regardless of how much history the original connection pulled — set request_extended_history on each refresh task that needs the full window.
Verify account funding before enabling Deposit Switch to ensure the customer’s account is active and in good standing.
Focus on recurring deposits to estimate stable income from bank transaction data.
